  1. Another armbar prediction another armbar victory, eh Greg. That's it I'm picking armbars from now on, lol. I actually feel sorry for the big guy, maybe if they hadn't thrown him to Fedor in his second fight he may have stood a chance. He obviously has an obscene amount of power and with training could have turned those takedown attempts into mounts and by the looks of Fedor's face it wouldn't take to many shots to finish from there.
As it is now he's the Primo Carnera of boxing (unfortunately for him without the fixed fights).

  2. At 7'2", the easiest way to win against someone that large is by armbar.

It looked almost comical the first time Fedor applied it on Hong Man almost akin to a monkey hanging on to a tree branch.

Let's hope Fedor gets some real competition in the new year. Regardless, he's an exciting fighter and for a Heavyweight, he is as quick as GSP in difficult situations that always end for the better for Fedor.

I believe that Fedor is that good and better... the world will take proper notice in time when they are ready... until then, the doubters will be prevalent because he isn't in the UFC.

  4. yay fedor! btw those cuts dont look like they came from punches. look carefully. i think hong used his beard (maybe gloves) to scrape his skin off. those scratches appeared after they were on the ground the first time. i get similar scrapes from judo. besides if you watch carefully, fedor never really takes a clean shot to that side of the head. well whatever, go fedor!

  5. It can sometimes be difficult to get the arm up high enough to put pressure on the elbow against someone with long arms (you can always just break the arm Mir vs Sylvia style I guess). I figured Fedor would rush him the way he did, trip Choi, mount and pound that gigantic pumpkin to a pulp. As for the cuts, the one on the forehead may have come from a clash of heads on the first takedown, Fedor seems to put his hand on that spot as soon as they hit the ground, but then Hong does land one shot while he is on top and two more in the scramble before we see Fedor's face, for sure grazing shots from the leather gloves leave more marks than fully connecting shots but I thought I detecting some facial puffiness (I mean more facially puffiness, gotta check out Russian cuisine by the looks of the Emelianenko bros it must be hard to resist)
Beard rash does suck, hard to explain why you have it to others as well. I don't know what the Judo Gi's are like but the BJJ ones scrape the shit outta you too.

    Fedor can do the can-can!
    Fedor does the can-can!

Were they expecting me to stay up to watch that crap? Forget Fedor.

  8. I think Choi just got caught. The only way to find out who is really better is an instant rematch.
    Nice find Greg.

  12. Fedor defeats another crap fighter. He must be the greatest. Thats why he chose some of kimbo slice's old opponents like "Bubba the Bar Bouncer" instead of coming to the UFC and getting it handed to him like all of his other pride buddies excluding rampage. The "Can" would kill this piece of dung.
