Rich Franklin & MMA Rumor Bullshit Stories

I can't stand it when MMA sites publish rumors as fact to drive traffic to their sites while misleading fans because they lack journalistic integrity in not only accurate fact finding but also producing a reliable source for the reader to acknowledge that the story is in fact, credible.

Case in point is the rumor that Rich Franklin was going to fight Travis Lutter in March 2008. I will not name any sites at fault for rumor mongering to drive traffic to their sites but just Google "Rich Franklin vs Travis Lutter" and you may be interested in knowing that the rumor virus spreads faster than any STD and is often mistaken for fact when talked about enough times.

Here's a personal note from Rich "Ace" Franklin who happens to be the reliable source:

I am told there are rumors of me fighting multiple people in March. I have not signed for a fight in March. I don't believe that I am allowed to fight more than once in a night. I hope this clears up any confusion. I have not signed to fight anyone in March, or any other month.

So, to all the pricks who say this site used to be a good source of news well, wake the fuck up and stop absorbing garbage information from the vanilla MMA sites that don't give a shit about delivering accurate information with reliable sources.
