TUF 6 Finale Payouts

The Ultimate Fighter Season 6 Finale payday has been announced which does not include any other bonuses that the fighters may have received. It appears that all of the TUFers got 8 grand to show with an 8K win bonus so that's even across the board however, Clay Guida got robbed from where I see the fighters dole.

One of the reasons I love this sport so much is due in part to the rawness that it exemplifies as well as the rawness of the fighters who make it all happen for our enjoyment. I mean, you have a guys that for the most part were barely employed and barely knockin' out the rent prior to joining TUF and now a guy like War Machine who was kickin' it on the beach somewhere before he got the call from Dana White's crew to replace the injured Roman Mitichyan gets $16,000 for what I thought was "The Fight of the Night".

Or how about a country boy in Tommer Speer who's trying to make money the only way he can to save the family farm from falling under financially. That's heart man! That's "every man", but most of all, that's me when I watch these guys. No difference except in the way they're going about knockin' out the rent.

Consider that these fighters get paid 8-10 thousand per fight yet only fight three times per year, have to eat, pay rent, taxes & bills to survive in the pursuit of their dream to one day be the best fighter they can be. Respect to all the fighters, man!

Speaking of heart and respect, check out what Clay Guida got for losing to Roger Huerta on his birthday.

Hat tip to MMAMania.com for the TUF 6 Finale fighter paydays

Anyway, congrats to all the TUF contestants and also to Mac Danzig for winning in convincing fashion and also receiving the six-figure UFC contract then dropping to 155 to give rise to a future welterweight force in the hick who overuses the word, "farm" in every interview - Mr. Tommy Speer.

Maybe Tommy can use some of that $8000 to buy new toys instead of the tires he plays with in the farmer's field.

Here's my Fight of the Night between War Machine & J-Roc!
