Marquardt UFC Contract Extention Talks

"We have been in contact with them. (UFC matchmaker) Joe Silva called this week to talk about my next fight and to discuss a new contract," Marquardt told Brawl Sports late Thursday. When asked about the likelihood of reaching an agreement to continue fighting in the UFC, Marquardt was upbeat, "I'm very confident it will happen."

Nate Marquardt is 25-7-2 in his MMA career and 4-1 in the UFC.
