UFC 67 Fight Card Set

Finally, the UFC has confirmed their fight card for UFC 67. I've been holding off on my UFC 67 predictions because fight cards are notorious for changing at the last moment.

I am disappointed that the UFC had not done its homework like MMA Fever and its fans. Apparently, the Machida fight will not be broadcast. Instead, it will be replaced with a couple of lightweights in John Halverson Vs. Roger Huerta

Huh? Why would the UFC bump a Light Heavyweight bout for a Lightweight bout? More to the point, why would the UFC not showcase Ryoto "Lyoto" Machida who happens to be the first person to lay a serious beating on Rich Franklin to record Rich's first MMA loss in his career?

Did I mention that Ryoto "Lyoto" Machida was the first to KTFO Rich Franklin?

I am not impressed with this decision by the UFC however, it will not deter me from watching UFC 67 because I have to see Anderson Silva, Cro Cop and Rampage Jackson.

Here is the finalized UFC 67 fight card:

Anderson Silva 17-4-0 Vs. Travis Lutter 12-3-0
Middleweight Championship bout

John Halverson 13-4-0 Vs. Roger Huerta 17-1-1
Lightweight bout

Mirko Cro Cop 21-4-2Vs. Eddie Sanchez 8-0-0
Heavyweight bout

Quinton Jackson 25-6-0 Vs. Marvin Eastman 13-6-1
Light Heavyweight bout

Patrick Cote 9-4-0 Vs. Scott Smith 12-2-0
Middleweight bout

Sam Hoger 6-2-0 Vs. Lyoto Machida 8-0-0
Light Heavyweight bout - May not be broadcast

Terry Martin 16-2-0 Vs. Jorge Rivera 14-5-0
Middleweight bout - May not be broadcast

Frankie Edgar 5-0-0 Vs. Tyson Griffin 8-0-0
Lightweight bout - May not be broadcast
