MMA Fever fan, Gorman Wu caught Wu-ping it up at The Ultimate Fighter 3 Finale with "The Gladiator" Ross Pointon.
Ross is scheduled to fight tonight at the UFN8 event against Rich Clementi and I predict that this will be the last we hear from Ross in the UFC simply because the only successful brawler that ever set foot on the canvas was the one and only David "Tank" Abbott and Ross isn't even close to Tank's class (if Tank even has any class :)
Although we may never see or hear from Pointon again after tonight, I still think he was the most colorful fighter in the house of the The Ultimate Fighter 3 series and I miss his off the wall brainless sayings that were often unintelligible.
Personality and Quotes
Pointon was portrayed on the show as a confident, serious fighter with heart. He was also shown as a fun loving man who loves his daughter and has pride in his home country. Pointon was also a source of culture-clash humor and many memorable moments inside the house. Though losing both fights, Pointon remained classy and respectful of his opponents.
"I'm a fighter, man, I'm here to fight."

Bisping: "What are you going to do if he [Kendall Grove] catches you in a submission?"
Pointon: "Gonna smash his face in, man."

I can't wait for tonight's fight and I will go on record now to say that if Ross wins tonight, I will publicly apologize for trashing Ross and his career choice.
Clementi isn't the most impressive fighter either so like I say, "anyone can win with a puncher's chance".
