Rampage Denied Entry into Canada

Yep, it's true... Quinton "Rampage" Jackson is not allowed to cross the Canadian border because of an assault charge he picked up when he was in college according to Canoe.com (CANadian Online Explorer).

Rampage is on the Canadian banned list.

Here are some quotes from Rampage Jackson about his situation with Canada:

"Tell the Canadian government to let me back in your country,"

"When I got in trouble in college, that was years ago, Why you all hating on me, because I'm black?"

Rampage has a message for Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper: "Let me in, dawg."

A-hem... Check the bottom of the Canoe article for a few gems of information that I am sure you will enjoy. Here is one of them that proves MMA is gaining in popularity south of the border over Hockey.

Blame the Ottawa Senators for that. (I'm a bandwagon jumpin' Toronto Maple Leafs playoff fan!)

"This one's a heartbreaker. Seems it doesn't matter what NHL commissioner Gary Bettman does, hockey's a hard sell south of the border. The most recent episode of "The Ultimate Fighter 5" on Spike TV more than doubled viewership for GAME 1 of the NHL Stanley Cup Finals in the U.S. The reality show garnered an average audience of 1.7 million viewers compared to the NHL's 769,000 viewers."
