Do you agree with the decision? The dood tapped out, plain and simple. Give Gray the win.

im with you on this, gray was a monster in this, fought way better than when he was on the show.
ReplyDelete+1 Gray dominated and the self inflicted KO should have been a side note rather than the cause of a "no contest" result.
ReplyDeletei think it's right to be "no contest"
ReplyDeleteemerson tapped and gray self-KO'd at the same time, so clearly they're both unable to continue fighting. a fighter loses if he's unable to continue at any point, so it's either they both lose (which is silly), draw, or something similar. i think NC is the best way to label it.
yeah, how many times have you seen one fighter dominate the whole way through and get knocked out by a lucky punch at the end? do those fighters also deserve a win? NC is the way to go
ReplyDelete-eugene
Same thing happened to Matt Hughes and Carlos Newton. Matt slammed him while Carlos had him in a triangle. Newton got KO'd and Matt was out at the same time but they gave the win to Matt. That was funny as Matt didn't even know where he was and that he had won.
ReplyDeleteLet them fight again in an overhyped rematch where Gray will dominate. Give Manny another shot at Diaz when he's better.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah... and post some Cung Le vids. Dood was ridiculous. Crocop what?!?!
Emerson would have won if he suffered through the pain a little before tapping, and had time to figure out what was happening. Gray shouldn't defintitely should not have won. You should never execute a move that knocks yourself out.
ReplyDeleteDude, don't know if you've noticed, but your video is no longer active. You probably want to edit your posting.
ReplyDeleteum mmafever withdrawal setting in right about now. come baaaacckkk
ReplyDelete"You should never execute a move that knocks yourself out. "
ReplyDeleteits not like gray knew he was gonna inflict some damage on himself, mma fighters in general probably experience or use that typical slam on a daily basis. its just a typical takedown/slam
