"Mixed martial arts is a cultural plague"

Brian Vanochten - Tool of the Day

If you haven't ever checked out FightOpinion.com yet, you really should. The folks over there cover a wide range of combat sports with a strong emphasis on mixed martial arts in particular.

So, I was checking Fight Opinion and I read their latest post titled: "Writer: MMA fans are cave dwellers". Huh? I'm an MMA fan so I had to read what that was all about and boy, was I surprised by the blatant ignorance of the highlighted story by a writer that should seriously turn in their keyboard and get a real hairpiece.

Here's a snippet of how the story begins...

Here's what UFC fans have in common:

A. They're mostly Neanderthal males hiding in caves.

B. They're not nearly sophisticated enough to appreciate the sweet science of boxing, nor the infield fly rule, the pick-and-roll, the left-wing lock, the bump draft or the pulling right guard.

C. They still think the "Flintstones" is a documentary.

The rest of the *cough* article *cough* doesn't let up on the unnecessary harshness of the MMA fan or the sport. Fortunately, the TOOL of the DAY will no longer be covering one of the most (if not the most) fastest growing sports in the universe.

"I promise this is the last time I'll ever write about UFC or the knuckleheads that participate in this savage bloodlust for the purpose of TV ratings."

Hey Brian Vanochten, thank you for sparing us cave dwellers from your drivel.

By the way, I just bought a half-million dollar cave recently and I have all the tools I can handle at the moment so that means that you are are useless tool!

Stick with Boxing and keep writing about those light flyweight (106 to 108 lb)elementary schoolyard recess fights.

Brian Vanochten, you are a TOOL!
