ReplyDeleteThe more I see of Mir, the more I like the guy. I was always a casual fan of his back in his early days and an even bigger one when he snagged the belt. I'll admit that I became less of one after his botched return to the Octagon. I honestly thought that his fight with Vera at UFC 65 was his last.
ReplyDeleteHis fight against Hardonk looked great, although no one can call Hardonk a top ten HW. His win against Lesnar wasn't spectacular, but he got it done none the less. I look forward to his continued rise in the HW rankings. Hopefully he can get back into title contention. Mind you, he does have a lot of work to do to get there.
He is quite the character. Family guy, honest and avoids the trash talk. His radio interview after UFC 81 had me laughing pretty hard!
