Denis Kang (27 - 9 - 1) is a journeyman mixed martial artist who is currently ranked #4 on MMAWeekly's Top Ten list for Middleweights (185 Lbs).
Kang's name has been tossed about the MMA Community as one who could have a legitimate shot at dethroning the current UFC Middleweight Champion, Anderson "The Spider" Silva if he were awarded with a UFC contract.
Kang fought on Saturday at K-1 - OLYMPIA HERO'S 2007 in KOREA against Judo specialist, Yoshihiro Akiyama. Unfortunately for Denis Kang, the fight ended just past the midway mark in round 1 by knockout due to a sharp right-handed uppercut.
