Nakamura Seeing Red

Well, I'm not sure if Kazuhiro Nakamura rolls bad ass cones or does buckets or simply loves to bake with the spice that makes you feel nice but, the California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) found traces of "The Marijuana" in his piss sample following his unanimous decision loss to Lyoto Machida at UFC 76.

Some schools of thought say weed doesn't performance enhance the fighter in any way and others say that it is a pain reliever that helps the fighter deal with the pain of oh, getting punched in the head?... either way, it's a banned substance and Nakamura was the only fighter from UFC 76 that didn't play fair.

Or, he was stupid enough to get caught.. you decide.

Nakamura has been fined $500 (about the same price for a quarter pound (QP) of some very, very fine weed... so I've been told :) and a three month suspension.

This shouldn't put much of a dent in his $20,000 take for losing to Machida.

Nakamura joins an ever "growing" list of fighters that have been tested and caught with trace amounts of the chemical properties that make you high from the sweet stuff including Nick Diaz and Diego Sanchez.
